To apply semicured gels, follow these steps:

  2. Choose the correct size of semicured gel strips for each nail.

  3. Peel off the backing and place the gel strip on your nail.

  4. Smooth out any bubbles or wrinkles.

  5. Trim and file the excess strip to fit your nail shape.

  6. Cure the gel under a UV/LED lamp for the recommended time (usually around 30-60 seconds).

How long do semicured gels last?

Semicured gels can last up to 2-3 weeks with proper application and care. Their longevity can be influenced by factors such as nail prep, application technique, and daily activities.

Do semicured gels damage natural nails?

When applied and removed correctly, semicured gels should not damage natural nails. It's important to follow proper removal procedures, such as soaking in acetone and gently pushing off the gel, to avoid any nail damage.

Can I remove semicured gels at home?

Yes, semicured gels can be removed at home.

To remove them:

  1. Put some acetone on the nail or some cuticle oil and let it soak for a few minutes.

  2. Lift the strip up gently from the side/edges using the wooden stick. Remove carefully the sticker.

  3. Once, removed the sticker, clean your nails with nail polish remover and get rid of any traces of remaining adhesive on your nail.

Are semicured gels safe for everyone?

Semicured gels are generally safe for most people. However, those with allergies to gel products or UV sensitivity should be cautious. It’s always a good idea to perform a patch test if you have sensitive skin or known allergies.
